Christ Church School strives to improve Speaking and Communication skills of its students. Effective speech is associated in a strong way with elocution in regards to grammar, accent, and pronunciation. Gesture and tone play an important role in forming a meaningful type of message. Elocution is one of the key factors in learning about the arts of communication. Students grow in confidence and become proficient in English.
Students from standards V to VIII recited poems. Kenn Nesbitt appeared to be a favourite. Grades IX to XII delivered speeches. Highly respected teachers from Diamond Jubilee High School and The Cathedral and John Connon School judged the event.
