The scripture reading:
The Scripture reading is taken from the book of James. Chapter1; Verse 12.and Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
This is the Word of the Lord.

The inspirational reading:
Eagle in a Storm
Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching, long before it breaks?
Eagles love storms. When clouds gather, eagles get excited. Then the eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the wind to come. Once it finds the wind of the storm, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is flying above it. It does not escape the storm. It simply uses the raging storm to lift itself higher. It rises above the wind that brings the storm. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings without any fear of the storm, while all the other birds hide under the leaves and the branches of the trees.
When the storms of life come upon us, we can rise above them by using the winds of our belief in God. The storms do not have to overcome us. God’s divine power can lift us above them.
Eagles have a vision. They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5 km away.No matter what the obstacles they face, they do not move the focus from the prey until it grabs it. Do have a vision in life and focus on it, even if you face great obstacles.
Eagles fly alone at high altitudes. They do not fly with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds that do not have the courage to face the storm. Keep away from things that do not allow you to face the storms of your life courageously.

Thought for the day:
The struggles and challenges in our lives make us stronger and more victorious.
Have a vision and remain focused. No matter what the obstacles, storms, and challenges you may face today. don’t give up and you will definitely succeed.
Never allow the storms of your life to take the most wonderful dreams and wishes of your life away from you. Believe in the promises of God and remain positive.

Let Us Pray

Our Gracious Heavenly Father, we place our lives in your hands. You know what is best for us. When our life is filled with trials and tribulation, cover us with your tender love and give us the strength to walk through any path and emerge victorious. Let failure be a stepping stone to success in our lives. Teach us never to give up and smile even in the most turbulent times of our life, for you know what best we deserve and what we are capable of.
Lord, I place in your hands, the staff and their family members who are passing through difficult times in their life..Give them the courage to face the tough time with your help. Strengthen them with your promises.
Bless our principal, vice principal, the board members, administrators, staff, and students. Be with us through this day.
In Jesus’ most precious name I pray. Amen.

Let us continue with the Lord’s Prayer.

The significance of the day:

22nd July- Today is an important day for all those who learn and teach Mathematics.
The value of ‘Pi’ in mathematics is 22/7. That is why, today, the 22nd day of the seventh month is observed as ‘Pi approximation Day’
Whereas ‘Pi Day’ is celebrated on the 14th of the third month, because of the value of Pi in decimal, which is 3.14, and also it coincides with Albert Einstein’s birthday
In the Christian calendar, July 22nd is celebrated as the feast day of Mary Magdalene who was the first person to see the resurrected Christ.
Stand to attention for the school song.
