The Swatch Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the government of India (clean India clean school)
We at Christ Church School conducted a cleanliness campaign wherein the students of Std 1 and Std 2, cleaned the class rooms and the surroundings. This made them aware of the importance of cleanliness . We also took the initiative to promote recycling of tetra pack cartons. The students collected tetra pack cartons and dropped them in the collection box and later the teachers took the cartons and dropped them in the collection box at Sahakari Bhandar Mazagoan.The highlight of this initiative is ‘Bin se Bench tak’ in which the tetra pack cartons will be recycled into desks for the lesser privileged children or benches and dustbins for public parks.
