The students of the Energy Club of Grades 7, 8 and 9 [Morning, Afternoon and IGCSE Section] had taken a trip to Keshav Srushti on 15th October, 2022.
The trip began with an enjoyable ride in the bus. We were welcomed at the venue. There was a PowerPoint presentation which highlighted the importance of an ‘Eco Friendly Environment’ and the activities that would be carried out throughout the day. The students were then taken for a long nature trail where they were given insight about rare species of herbal and botanical plants, fresh water ponds, butterfly garden, mango and coconut plantations and Vermiculture. They were then taken to the Gaushala where the students fed the cow’s cucumbers and bananas. A Biogas plant has been erected at Gaushala where the gas generated is transported through a pipe line to the canteen of Ram Ratan Vidya Mandir School located 750 meters away from it. The students had a scrumptious meal. They were then taught the art of making paper where the student’s had a hands-on experience.
On their way back, the students purchased herbal plants and returned with fond memories.
