The students of grade 1 participated in the Swachata Pakwada Cleanliness week activities on the following topics: Safe handling of drinking water, Water borne diseases, and washing of hands.
This is Grade 4 celebrating Swachchta Pakhwada by decorating trash bins and making it attractive for kids to use it and keep our classrooms and our school clean. This day is celebrated to create awareness regarding cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation amongst society.
“Swachhata Pakhwada” as a part of “Swachhta Abhiyan” was initiated, with the objective of bringing a fortnight of intense focus on the issues and practices of Swachhata-meaning Cleanliness. To support this great initiative of government and to create awareness about the need for cleanliness, students of IGCSE Year I made comic strips and cartoon posters.
